Real-time collaboration

See how shared editing, presence, comments, and offline changes work together.

Editors can work in the same text file simultaneously. CorTeX synchronizes the text and shows collaborator cursors. Seeing someone's cursor does not grant or change access; the role and scope assigned through project sharing still control what each person can do.

Work through interruptions#

If the connection drops, edits are queued in this browser and merge after reconnection. If the Offline indicator appears, keep the tab open and wait for it to clear before deciding that a remote edit is missing.

Coordinate broad changes#

Comments stay attached to their passage as text changes. Before replacing files, restoring history, or accepting a large assistant patch, coordinate with coauthors and save a named version. Learn how to use version history for recovery.
