Try CorTeX without signing in
Learn what Try mode can do and when to save your temporary work.
Try mode opens a sample Markdown, LaTeX, or slide document from the home page. You can edit source, preview Markdown, and compile LaTeX before creating an account.
Understand temporary storage#
Try mode stores your work for the current browser tab. Your work survives a reload in that tab, but closing the tab discards it.
- A trial supports up to 100 files in a 2 MiB serialized project snapshot, including metadata and encoded assets.
- Collaboration, uploads, Orca, sharing, and version history require a saved project.
Keep your work#
Choose Sign in and save before closing the tab. After you accept the current legal documents, CorTeX copies the trial's file tree, source, main-document setting, and compile profile into a new project. The PDF is then compiled from that source. Continue by managing the project files.
